Vienna Travel Guide and Map App Reviews

The guide is comprehensive, and the maps were helpful because we could access them online. Id suggest adding directions (shortest and fastest routes, etc.). Overall, a very good guide.

It is a really great app for tourists. I have one sugestion to add turn by turn navigation. And you can also add map of public transport info into description how to get to selected destination.

Needed an off line map!

Used this app in Vienna and would have been lost without it. I didnt realize until the last day that you could click on a site and it would give lots of useful information. Awesome app that works without Internet. Wouldnt travel without this app to Vienna.

What a great resource! I dont even carry a map any more. Plus, the ability to make an account and link my Pins & Bookmarks between iPad & iPhone adds to the convenience.

Used this a ton to get around. Amazing because iPhone 5 (maybe others) has gps even when on airplane mode and not connected to wifi. Loved this offline!!

Realy great app! We spent week at Vienna and we had found everything what we wanted. The best thing is, that it is offline and you can save data and places which you want to visit in the future. I reccomend it to any Vienna tourist :)

app is a great help but the search is poorly done

This app has great offline features that guided me around Vienna for 3 days with out getting lost! This was a great supplement to my guide book and maps. The offline wiki was great for self walking tours. The offline map is an absolute must for any traveler and this app covers the most common tourist attractions youd visit. The Ubahn and tram stops are so helpful for getting around.

The map is fully useable offline; mysteriously, it is even able to track your location. (I had no service in Austria, so I know I was offline. I also kept it in airplane mode to avoid weird charges.) Plus, all the major monuments have articles which are also accessible offline.

Very good app to get you around and has all the info you would ever need.

I used the Vienna, London and Paris guides. Loved them. Intelligently designed. Fast and beautiful interface. Full of useful info. I wish they become "The Guide" for travelers.

This is a great app and set of apps. Usable without wifi or cell coverage. Used extensively for street locations. Search does not recognize parks or other types of open spaces unless they are really popular tourist spots.

This app was invaluable in finding my way around Vienna while off-line. I wish the subway lines were a little easier to read on the map.

Great app for walking/running through the city. It locates you offline and is super responsive when magnifying. Many sites, restaurants and shops are listed. Would love the next update to allow you to tag a site as seen or to see.

There is nothing bad I can say about this map. I would even pay for it! I downloaded it before I hopped on the plane for Vienna and it saved me by having the map available offline--and, it was accurate! It has been the best tool I have had here as a traveler!

I travel a lot but I am also directionally challenged. The apps link the metro station with any places on the map, which is a very useful feature.

Preload your destinations and you are all set for days of sight seeing. You can also track those pesky cabbies and make sure they are not taking the long way around

Stayed in Vienna city center a week for business and this app helped me to get around, find local places to visit, compare hotel costs, save spots to visit, etc.
